I drove a ’65 Galaxie 500 convertible around socal for years. If this guitar channels any of the “surf” soul that car had, its a must buy.

I didn’t realize the misspelling had such a tradition. Galaxie’s a great space rock name though, Satellite would have been good as well.

p.s. the spelling comes from an old 60′s Vox amp, which i’m sure came from the Ford Galaxie car. The band Galaxie 500 also uses the spelling so i felt i was in good company. The original name for the guitar was the Satellite (from a song on the first Def Leppard album) which i accidentally misspelled Sattelite. Either way the name was taken by another guitar company so i changed it to Galaxie. It just seemed right to misspell it after all that!
